Creative Youth Showcase Auditions

As part of the Black History Month celebrations, we celebrate youth.  Think you got talent? Want to be a part of Black History Month activities? Creative Youth Showcase is holding auditions for talented youth performers (aged 12-25) in all artistic genre, including music, dance, poetry, drama and visual arts.

Auditions will be held on: Saturday, February 11th, 2012 from noon to 4 pm at St. Monica School Gymnasium (235 - 18 Avenue SW). Come solo or with a group!

Selected artists will participate at the Youth Showcase on Februrary 25th at Cantos Music Foundation located at 134, 11Av S.E. Calgary.

Get ready for 2012

As 2011 comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who participated in one way or another in the Afrikadey! experience.  It was a special year indeed...

We are now hard at work on 2012.  Prepare yourself for a very busy, entertaining and enlighting year, starting with Black History Month in February.

This year will also bring a series of youth oriented workshops and programs.  The goal is to offer opportunities, support and motivation to our younger generations while getting them interested / involved in the community.

We hope you will join us in 2012 as we are making sure, once again,  that you will be amazed...
